Over the past decade, RegTECH has been a key technological partner in the evolution of China’s Golden Tax Project—one of the world’s largest and most complex tax modernization initiatives. As a core contractor of the Golden Tax Phase Ⅲ and Ⅳ, RegTECH has led the design, development, and deployment of e-invoicing system that are transforming the country’s tax landscape.

At the heart of our contribution is the national VAT Invoice Management System, which facilitates the real-time generation, issuance, and verification of e-invoices across industries. Our team also played a central role in building China’s unified electronic invoicing platform, supporting the centralized control and seamless operation of hundreds of millions of transactions per day.

These systems are not only critical to tax compliance and data accuracy, but also form the digital backbone of China’s broader fiscal management reforms. RegTECH’s secure, high-performance architecture ensures system reliability at national scale—supporting both government oversight and taxpayer service.

To date, our efforts have contributed to:

– Over 20.6 billion e-invoices issued annually; 

– Handled transaction amount reached 13.43 trillion US dollars (USD)
